This class is playful, exploratory, uses props galore, and has a relaxed, workshop style.

This 60 minute class is designed for the beyond beginner through experienced practitioner (Level 2-3). Dynamic flows, strength challenges, creative transitions, and upbeat music will get your heart pumping in this practice. Modifications and props will be cued to accommodate a variety of students. Weights and resistance bands are offered as optional challenges. This is a fun class that will challenge your mind and body, leaving you energized and refreshed.
Beyond Basics Flow
In this class, we use all the tools learned in Yoga Basics (or Yoga Mechanics) to string our postures together in a cohesive way. Each class will focus on a particular theme or concept, and basics will be revisited to help cultivate strength and stability needed to transition from posture to posture. As the class progresses, basic practices will be integrated into small, accessible flows. In this slower-paced class, students will have time to utilize props, find modifications, and rest as needed. This class is great for the student looking to progress from basic movements to exploring transitions between postures, or for anyone needing an accessible or slower paced practice.
*The classes below not currently offered, but offered in workshop or series formats periodically:

This all-levels class is designed around a monthly focus to incorporate various styles of hatha yoga and essential oils based on the seasonal needs of the body. Essential oils have been used for therapeutic and spiritual reasons for thousands of years, and in this workshop-style class we will use the specifically chosen oils to help enhance the practice in a variety of ways.
**This class can be offered in a group class setting, a workshop format, or even for a private group. It's a unique alternative to the traditional essential oils class. Contact Katie to book this class at your location.
